We need to set healthy boundaries to protect and take great care of ourselves.  People treat us the way we have taught them.  They do so, because we have not taught them differently.  We need to learn how to protect & honor ourselves; to empower and accept responsibility for our lives and for the choices we make.

Everyone has physical boundaries in place, fences to protect our property and walls to protect our homes.  Personal Boundaries are invisible lines we place around ourselves for protection, referred to as our personal space. Everyone has personal boundaries, whether they recognize them or not! 

 

Boundaries give us clarity to who we are and what we are willing to do or not do, as well as what we will accept from others and what we will not. They are filters to stop people from infringing upon our time, energy and space with unacceptable behavior.

Don't should on me, I won't should on you or should on myself!
